Artist statement

I am fascinated by the abundance of specimens in our natural history museums, my work draws inspiration from these and from the natural world, both past and present, particularly from biological structures. I use printmaking as an artistic medium to investigate these themes; I specialise in photo gravure, collagraph and dry point etching.
